Application and Registration

Thank you for your interest in CCA. We are no longer accepting students in the current, 2022-2023 school year. We have now opened the new family application for the 2023-2024 school year.

The application link for the upcoming academic school year (beginning August 2023) is posted below. Once registration opens, we will be reaching out to new family applicants sometime in late January and February in the order of the application dates. If you haven’t heard from us by mid February, please don’t worry. As long as you completed the application, we’ll be in touch! There is no obligation to continue the application process, but there is a $25 application fee due on the date of your new family interview. After you have applied and interviewed with CCA, there is still no obligation to enroll if you decide our program is not a good fit for your family. The following link is an application to attend CCA. If your application is approved through the interview and referral process, you will then be able to register for the tutorial. This application is the first step of multiple steps defined below.

Thank you for your interest in Cornerstone Christian Academy! If you are interested in registering with us, please be aware of these steps:

Step 1: Online Application. Fill out the online application. The link for the upcoming school year is posted on this page each December. Note: We will not consider texts, phone calls, or e-mails regarding interest in CCA as applications. We MUST receive a completed online application. That puts you in the queue to be called for the next step. Deadline for receiving applications from new families, in the past, has been March 1. However, there are times when we meet our maximum number of students sooner than that, and the application is taken down from our website before March. This will certainly be the case this year, as we have had many inquiries about registration for the upcoming school year. If you hope to join CCA in 2023-24, we suggest applying very soon.

Step 2: New Family Interview. We will contact you to set up a new family interview at CCA. New family interviews are conducted January through March at The Journey Church. We’d love to meet your children who are interested in attending CCA, so plan to bring them to the interview. In the 30-minute interview, you will be able to see the facility where we meet, we’ll share information about CCA, get to know each other a bit, and answer any questions you or your children may have. CCA staff will let new families know through phone call or email if they are accepted.

Step 3: Online Family Registration. Registration is open only to those who have already applied, interviewed, and been accepted at Cornerstone. Once accepted, you will receive an e-mail with a link to register for the tutorial online in our registration system. Registering is a different process than applying for CCA. The link for registration is not listed on our website; it will only be sent to those families who have been accepted. You must register online before you can sign up your children for classes.

IMPORTANT: Before you complete the registration process, please understand we have a strict policy of no refunds. We encourage you to prayerfully and carefully consider the commitment you are making before completing the registration process. There is no obligation during the application process. This only applies once you have registered.

Step 4: Class Registration. CCA staff will contact you with the date to complete registration and sign up your children for classes.

On class registration day:

  1. Sign up for your volunteer spots for the year:
    • 2 lunch periods (lunches are a 1 1/2 hr commitment)
    • 1 event
    • 1 morning setup (45 minutes)
    • 1 afternoon cleanup (60-90 minutes)
  2. Sign up your children for classes. There is always a chance some classes will be full, so come prepared with a second choice for that hour.
  3. Pay ALL your fees including registration fee, tuition for each class, and class materials fees if applicable, before leaving. If you do not pay in full, you will lose your children’s spots in their classes and have to re-register for classes.

IMPORTANT: You may pay with cash or check, but if you pay with checks, you will need up to 9 post-dated checks for each class for each student. This can add up to a lot of checks, so PLEASE ensure that you have plenty of checks ahead of time. We cannot hold classes for your children if all payments are not received on your registration day. It would be disappointing to get to this stage of registration and then have to stop, go home to order checks, and wait for them to arrive before being able to sign up your children for classes. There is a chance you would lose your child’s spots in the classes you wanted.
