We are no longer accepting applications for the 2019 – 2020 school year. Registration for new families is now closed. Please check back some time after Christmas if you’d like to apply for the 2020 – 2021 school year. That application will be linked to the website in the beginning of 2020.

Thank you for your interest in Cornerstone Christian Academy! If you are interested in registering with us, please be aware of these steps:

Step 1: Online Application. Fill out an online application (see link at bottom of page). Note: We cannot consider texts or phone calls or e-mails regarding interest in CCA as applications. We MUST receive a completed online application. That puts you in the queue to be called for the next step. Deadline for receiving applications from new families for consideration for the 2019-2020 year is March 15, 2019.

Step 2: New Family Interview. We will contact you to set up a new family interview at CCA. New family interviews are conducted mid-January through March or April at West Hills Baptist Church. We’d love to meet your children who are interested in attending CCA, so plan to bring them to the interview. In the 30-minute interview, we’ll give you a brief tour of the facility where we meet, share information about CCA, get to know each other a little, and answer any questions you or your children may have. CCA staff will let new families know through phone call or email if they are accepted.

Step 3: Online Family Registration. Registration is open only to those who have already applied, interviewed, and been accepted at Cornerstone. Once accepted, you will receive an e-mail with a link to register for the tutorial online in our registration system. You must be registered online before you can sign up your children for classes.

Step 4: Class Registration. CCA staff will contact you with the date to complete registration and sign up your children for classes.

On class registration day:

  1. Sign up for your volunteer spots:
    • 3 lunch periods + 1 event (lunches are about 1-1/2 hr commitment, events vary)
      OR
    • morning setup for 1 semester (about 20 min per morning)
      OR
    • afternoon cleanup for 6 weeks (about 30 min per afternoon)
  2. Sign up your children for classes. There is always a chance some classes will be full, so come prepared with a second choice for that hour.
  3. Pay ALL your fees including registration, building donation, and tuition for each class before leaving. If you do not pay in full, you will lose your children’s spots in their classes and have to re-register for classes.

IMPORTANT: You may pay with cash or check, but if you pay with check you will need 8 post-dated checks for each class for each student. This can add up to a lot of checks, so PLEASE ensure that you have plenty of checks ahead of time. We cannot hold classes for your children if you don’t pay, and it would be sad to get to this stage of registration then have to stop and go home to order checks and wait for them to arrive before being able to sign up your children for classes (and lose spots in the classes you wanted).

Please note: Class registration for the 2019-2020 school year has closed as of March 31st, 2019. There can be no accommodations or exceptions.
